Fuller's London Pride ESB London Porter 1845 Celebration Ale Vintage Ale
Tasting Notes

APPEARANCE
The bottled variant of the beer has a bronze copper, deep amber color.

AROMA
On the nose, grass and other spicy notes are apparent. Dark caramel notes from the malt are more prominent on the bottled version of this product but marmalade, banana and other fruit flavors are dominant in the beer.

FLAVOR
As with cask ESB, the bottle has a slightly chewy mouth-feel, but remains tingly on the tongue. A liquor like beer, ESB is well-balanced with both hop and malt characters. The hops provide distinct cooked fruit flavors while the malt adds treacle, nut and vanilla flavors.

AFTERTASTE
An initial burst of caramel flavor soothes and lingers on the palate. As with the cask product, ESB leaves a tingling sensation that warms throughout. "An ample, grainy nutty aroma and a broad, authorative flavor, with lashings of dry marmalade-like bitters," said Andrew Jefford, Beer & Wine Critic, London Evening Standard.

Head Brewer

"An ample, grainy nutty aroma and a broad authoritative flavour..."
